Frog

I'm continuing messing around with vector illustrations of different fable animals. When I get enough of them, I'll start designing some page layouts or something. For now, I'm just having fun playing with the colors and lines!

Catch up!

Sooooo, my scanner is toast. Sad days! Thus, the following are poor photos from my webcam of my daily doodles in my sketchbook. The above is an example of a warm-up I often use--quick, easy, and gets me smiling.
This little dude is actually a stuffed animal created by my good friend Julie Gullman. I'll post a picture of the real him next time!

Julie also created the above characters--they're brown, fuzzy, one-eyed critters that represent me (with the tongue sticking out) and my friend Ashlee (with the lips). You can see more of Julie's work on Facebook!
More monsters...because they are fun to draw. I don't know why I like one-eyed, tentacled monsters so much.

This drawing and the next one are actually over a year old, but I found them and wanted to let you all know about the hilarious stories they're drawn from! My friend Kyle, a voice actor, has been reading the episodes to me, and one day I drew some of the characters. Check out the author, Brian Clevinger, and all the other cool stuff he does here: http://www.nuklearpower.com .

A old doll I found at a thrift store. She really is missing an arm, but she doesn't actually look that surprised about it.
I dont' know who or what this guy is...any ideas, anyone? Evil, rabbit-hating magician, perhaps?
This guy looks like he's in charge of a newspaper or something.

My friend Paul. :-)

That's it for now! I should be back on schedule with an (almost) daily update of doodles, as well as other projects and news.

there's a reason, folks...

...that this hasn't been updating daily as I promised. And that is that my scanner is broken. Should be fixed by the end of the week, and then there will be a whole slough of updates.
